Greetings! I have a few questions about what type of RC can run at the track. I've been building rcs for a few years now but have never been involved in organized racing. Will someone ellaborate on which vehicles can race? I read that the track is for 1/10th scale only. I also see that there is a Rookie class, SCT, Stadium Truck, and Buggy as well as 4x4 buggy. Are there rules as to which motors can be used? What about wheelbase width?
Cheers!
Mechanical timing is allowed on the motor, none in the esc
Greetings again, are timing adjustments allowed in the 13.5T ST class? Thanks!
Thanks again. I have a 17.5T on the way!
Stock buggy means 17.5 motor basically. Novice is everything together. It's the class to start in.
Kevin, thanks for the reply!
Regarding novice, are there different classes in novice or is it a catch all kind of class?
Does stock buggy mean that the rc has to be factory stock? I've searched the internet for answers but didn't find specifics. I plan on making a visit in the next few weeks.
Thanks again,
Jb
We race 1/10th scale and go by roar rules. We have novice and its kind of run what you have as long as it's 10th scale and clean and has a chassis protector. No 4x4 SC though. Stock buggy is 17.5, mod is open. 4 wheel buggy and stadium truck are 13.5 turn. Let me know if you need anything else, or just stop by!
